Catalysts / Facilitators

Catalysts and Facilitators are the heartbeat of learning and transformation at Spice Without Borders. They guide changemakers through powerful, reflective, and skill-building experiences that spark growth, confidence, and action. Working across initiatives such as the Spice Accelerator, Kilimo Accelerator, Ecospice Accelerator, SPICETALKS, and youth leadership programmes, they help participants connect their purpose to meaningful social change. Catalysts / Facilitators create safe, inclusive, and energising learning environments where creativity flourishes and ideas evolve into practical solutions. They hold space for dialogue, teach essential leadership and innovation skills, and inspire participants to think boldly and act responsibly within their communities.

Executive Leadership

The Executive Leadership team provides the strategic heartbeat of Spice Without Borders. This department shapes the organisation’s long-term vision, nurtures the global volunteer culture, and ensures all programmes stay mission-aligned. From guiding the SPICE ecosystem to championing the empowerment of activists, creatives, entrepreneurs, initiators, and innovators, this team steers the organisation’s direction with purpose and clarity. Executive Leaders cultivate partnerships, mentor emerging changemakers, and uphold the values that define our movement.

Program Leadership & Advisory

Program Leadership & Advisory ensures that every program—across our accelerators, youth initiatives, and community platforms—delivers deep and measurable impact. They translate vision into actionable programme design, provide advisory support, and oversee the effectiveness of activities across countries and communities. Program leadership teams guide data-driven decision-making, strengthen monitoring and evaluation, and ensure alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They mentor programme teams, support alumni development, and build systems that help changemakers thrive.

Operational Management

Operational Management keeps the organisation running smoothly. They ensure our events, campaigns, partnerships, finances, and wellbeing frameworks are executed with excellence and care. From coordinating global summits and public events to managing donor relations, communications, and internal health systems, this team forms the backbone of organisational efficiency. They uphold transparency, cultivate collaborations, support financial stewardship, and safeguard the mental wellbeing of our volunteers and program participants.

Specialists & Creatives

Specialists & Creatives bring creativity, technical expertise, and specialist knowledge to the forefront of our mission. They craft the stories, digital content, data systems, tools, and learning experiences that amplify the work of our changemakers. Whether producing multimedia content, analysing program outcomes, designing digital solutions, or facilitating workshops, these specialists ensure that innovation and excellence remain central to how we work. They bridge creativity with impact, strengthening the visibility and effectiveness of every initiative.

Global Engagement & Networks

Country & International Ambassadors extends the spirit of Spice Without Borders across continents. Ambassadors represent the organisation in their countries or regions, building grassroots networks, leading local engagements, and elevating community voices. Cause Community Managers nurture theme-based communities around key social issues—environment, education, gender, health, technology, and more. Together, they expand our reach, strengthen collaborations, and ensure local realities shape global impact.

Board of Stewards

Board of Stewards provides wisdom, guidance, and governance to strengthen the entire ecosystem. Spice Mentors support changemakers through hands-on coaching, technical advice, and long-term accompaniment. The Board of Stewards offers strategic oversight, ethical leadership, and accountability for the organisation’s mission and direction. Together, they ensure that Spice Without Borders remains grounded, visionary, and guided by strong values and global expertise.
