Kilimo is Swahili for Farming. Kilimo Accelerator is a 6 months entrepreneurial life skills boot camp for local adolescent ages 13 – 17 years.  It employs participants in producing and marketing crops, and bootstraps them with the guidance and resources they need to sell and make profit, which they can keep.

We nurture young impact entrepreneurs or as we like to call them ‘agriprenuers’. We believe this is the most effective, sustainable means of tackling poverty and climate change because these agriprenuers can play a major role in coming up with unique solutions to local problems in their backyards. Our role is to help refine, support and scale their solutions.
